Project name: Afghani War Rugs Reimagined
Description: Join artist Ghafar Tajmohammad for a stimulating Panel Discussion on Afghan Art and Artists. Hear from active members of the Afghan creative community about the cultural significance of Afghan art in this bilingual event, provided in English and Dari. Gain valuable insights from Ghafar Tajmohammad, known for his reinterpretations of Afghan War Rugs, and discover the artistic vision of Lazo Studios, an art, design, and wood crafting atelier founded by creatives with experience working in Afghanistan. Limited tickets are available for this talk, which will feature catered traditional Afghan food.

Educational project with HealthProm
Project name: Gateway to education for afghan refugee children.
Description: For the continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation between HealthProm UK charity and the Afghan Association of London for the implementation of a partnership project called “Gateway to Education for Afghan Refugee Children” in london during the years 2023 and 2024.
British and Foreign Schools Society (BFSS) funded this project. Both charities partnered to deliver the mechanism including aims and objectives with defined roles for each party involved.
This two year project started in April 2023 and will run from our base in Harrow Borough.
