Football tournament success!
The Afghan Association of London has initiated and successfully facilitated a 7-a-side football tournaments. 10 London football teams have participated in the one-day tournament. The event was well attended, and the feedback from teams that participated was extremely positive.
Books With Wings
Books With Wings UK is a fantastic initiative started by Paul Wordley, one of our dedicated and valued volunteers. The aim of the project is to collect mainly university text books and to send them to Afghanistan. Arzu Qaderi
Arzu Qaderi, presenter & filmmaker who used to volunteer for us is a human rights activist, now a respected filmmaker with her first own debut documentary ‘My Afghan Diary’ which has been screened at prestigious film festivals in London, Italy, India, France, Canada, South America, France and soon to be screened in Germany. Womens Group Event success!
